Hi Conejo Family!

I pray you are very well this week! We are moving into a wonderful & life-changing season over this next few weeks.  This Sunday, April 9, is Palm Sunday, when we remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem.  Let’s gather together and praise our King with passion this weekend!  Next Friday, April 14, is Good Friday.  We will be part of a Good Friday/ Tenebrae service with other churches in our community and it will be powerful!  Sunday, April 16, is Easter or Resurrection Sunday!  I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for this celebration of the love and unbelievable power of our God.  To tie all of these Holy Week events together, we are publishing a daily devotional, written by your friends in our church.  Ask the Lord to meet with you and to make you more like HIM this Easter season.  See you on Sunday!

GOOD FRIDAY TENEBRAE Service April 14th

EASTER at Conejo
Easter is like the Superbowl in church life.  Even people who are usually not fans during the “regular season” tune in on this day and will likely join you for “the game” if you invite them!  Pastor Kirk will be sharing a message about how to find real JOY in Jesus right in the middle of this crazy life.  Markita Knight will be leading worship, along with some of your Conejo Church musician friends.  It will be an amazing service!  Don’t miss it if you’re in town. (Please don’t make brunch your priority.) Pray for your friends and neighbors who need to find hope and joy in the Lord.  Many will meet HIM this Easter!   If you are part of the Conejo Church family, please park on the street or next to Home Depot, so we make room for new guests.  Thanks!


HOLY WEEK Daily Devotional
Writers from our own church family have put together a daily devotional for YOU for Holy Week, starting on Palm Sunday, April 9.  Read or click each day and allow The Lord to direct your heart and mind through next week.  You will get to experience Christ’s passion through the eyes of different characters in the Biblical account.  It will challenge and grow you.  We hope you will join us!

HOPE4KIDS Festival & Fun Run – April 29
There will be 5k and 10k runs, along with a fun run for kids and tons of booths and activities at this event coming up in Camarillo.  All proceeds will go to help foster kids & foster families in Ventura County.  Here is the link to sign up to run or to volunteer.
