CAMPING

Thank you for being part of our church camp-out!  This is a really fun Conejo Church tradition.

  1. If you haven’t paid yet, please go on the Conejo Church website giving page and use the “Carpinteria” drop down on the menu. Adults are $25 and kids are $15.  Thanks!!
  2. You can arrive any time after 2PM on Friday, November 2.  Please check in with Chris Peters once you get to the group sites to know where to put your RV or your tent.  Tell them at the ranger kiosk that you are part of Conejo Church and it’s under “Kirk DeWitt’s name”.  Checkout is 12 on Sunday.
  3. Please bring your own food but we will have s’mores to share! Remember: they don’t allow generators after dark and there are no hook ups.  The inside showers are coin operated.
PARKING

We will fit as many cars in the campsite parking as possible but once we run out of space the rest of the vehicles will have to be parked in the overflow/day use parking lot.  There is a $10.00 per day fee for this lot so please bring appropriate cash, check or card just in case.

COMING UP FOR THE DAY ON SATURDAY

If you’d like to come up just for part of the day on Saturday, we will be at the Santa Cruz Loop group site called “Gull” and on the beach directly in front of those sites.  We will be making a donut run to the famous Tyler’s Donuts around 9AM.  We will have a baptism in the ocean at 11AM and we will walk down to check out the tide poolsaround 1:30 in the afternoon.  We will have s’mores and worship together when it gets dark…

JOINING US FOR CHURCH ON SUNDAY

We will have an interactive church service on the beach starting at 10AM on the beach right in front of the SANTA ROSA campground.  There will be a scripture prayer walk, worship music, and a devotional about how God’s power is made PERFECT in our own weakness. Please bring a beach chair and an umbrella if you have one!  If you would like to get baptized at the end of the service, please let Pastor Kirk know.

WE WILL ALSO BE HAVING A CHURCH SERVICE AT 480 W. GAINSBOROUGH on Sunday, November 4, led by John and Anne Barbour.  Both services are at 10AM!
