Hi, Conejo Family!

How are you this week? I mean, really? Sometimes it’s tough following Jesus, becoming more like Him, and sharing good news with others. How can we stay on track?

Last Sunday I taught about the Gospel – what it means and how to respond to God’s amazing grace. This Sunday, I’ll be teaching from Paul’s words to Timothy about how to stay focused, how to persevere, and why some people fall away. Please read ahead in 2 Timothy 1:13-18 and 2 Timothy 2:1-13.

If you are part of the Conejo Church family and you missed the Family Chat last Sunday, please watch it on Vimeo. I shared some very important updates about vision for the fall and finances.

I can’t wait to see each of you this weekend!

In His Grip,
Pastor Kirk

Conejo Youth

Youth Emphasis
Sundays & Tuesdays

Sunday mornings we’ve begun taking a deeper dive into the 20 Bible Truths every student should have in their “spiritual backpack”.

We’ve been continuing our study on the book of James on Tuesday evenings, and have covered things like seeking wisdom through trials, the importance of perseverance, and avoiding temptation. We’ll continue this 12 week series each Tuesday.

Watch for a youth calendar that will be coming soon on our Conejo website. I’ll have events there to keep you up to date on what we have planned for the youth of Conejo.

Thank You,
Lucas Johnston
