Conejo Weekly News! June 15, 2023

Hi, Conejo Church family,

I hope you are doing very well this week as you serve our Lord! Stacy and I got away last weekend to celebrate our anniversary and it was amazing. Breaks are important! Being with our faith family is also important. I want to ask you to do two things this summer. Enjoy a break or a vacation and recharge your battery. And, be with us on Sundays when you’re not out of town. That’s it!

I know a lot of people will visit Conejo this Summer and they need to feel loved and welcomed by you when they show up. I know each of you need to worship, connect, and be fed as well.

If you missed last Sunday, Pastor John Barbour did a wonderful job preaching. You can find his message on TIME on Youtube or Spotify.

This coming Sunday is Father’s Day. I can’t wait to share a teaching with you about how Jesus shows us what our Heavenly Father is really like. I know you will find it encouraging and very helpful! Let’s give Father God a great gift this weekend as we pray and worship together. This Saturday, a bunch of us will be at the beach as well. You can find the details below.

Family Beach Day

Please join us at the beach this Saturday. We will be at Harbor Cove (Mother’s Beach), 1950 Spinnaker Drive in Ventura.

Look for us at the left side of the beach, near the rocks. This is a very kid-friendly and calm beach. It’s a great spot for paddle boards and kayaks as well! Hope to see you. ~ Kirk
