having a good week as you focus on loving the Lord and loving others with all of who you are. I want to say a big “Thank You!” to all of you who helped with Conejo’s VBS last week. It was a huge success and blessed a lot of kids and families. I’m so thankful to be part of a church that cares so well for our community.
Let’s talk about Sundays for a minute.
This past Sunday our subject was how to best engage our emotions in loving God and loving others. Dr. Laura Cavaretta helped me teach on the subject and it was really helpful to so many people! If you missed it, please catch up. Please also share it with those in your life who may find it encouraging.
This coming weekend, our subject will be loving God and others through our temple, meaning our physical bodies. I’ll be interviewing Dr. David Diehl about the big WHY of physical health. We will also hear from Kristina DeLaittre how physical health affects our spiritual health as well. I can’t wait to see you!
Blessings to you all,
Pastor Kirk
PS. Our youth will also be having a breakfast burrito fund-raiser right after the service to raise money for camp. I’m hoping these burritos will be healthy ones…
Happening Today!
We can’t say enough about the need to draw together as brothers and sisters in Christ to pray. There is nothing more critical than prayer for our lives and for our community. Will you make this a priority and come to one or both of the prayer times today? We will be meeting in the sanctuary at 7am and also at 7pm. See you then!
VBS Recap!
Thank you, Lord!
We are so grateful to God for the beautiful VBS week He gave us. It provided another opportunity to partner with our brothers and sister from the Adventist Church, and gave all of us the chance to see God work in the hearts of every person on our campus, Monday through Friday.
A very special thanks to Jill Turner and Dana McCoy for heading up this huge endeavor. Thanks to each of you who volunteered! May God bless you richly for your kingdom service. We give Him all the glory.
