I hope you are staying in a place where God can bless you this week! (If you’re not sure exactly what I mean, please listen to the kick off week to our Summer in the Psalms series on July 2.) I’m really enjoying this series so far. Last Sunday, I taught about the Shepherd Psalm, number 23. I know it is a favorite for many of you and it contains some beautiful promises from the Lord.
This coming week, we will dig into Psalm 42 and 43, which were originally written together. These psalms talk about what you and I can do practically when we feel depressed or discouraged. I think the answer will surprise and encourage you.
Join us after the service at Sharky’s in Newbury Park. It’s going to be hot, so we will have lunch and catch up with each other over there in the AC. I’m also praying that God will grow our Conejo family this summer. Please think of someone you can invite to join us on a Sunday in July and August who is in need of a family of faith.
May God bless you this week as you seek Him and His Kingdom first.
In His grip,
Kirk

Talking to God on behalf of one another is a huge part of how the Body of Christ takes care of its members! Please let us know how we can pray for you? We’d like to rejoice with you too, so let us know how God is answering prayer.
Every Sunday morning at 9:35, come to the oak tree patio by the sanctuary to prepare your heart for our morning gathering. We will be there to pray with you!
