Hello, Conejo Church family,

Happy almost September! The last few days have been amazing… 3 Conejo youth were baptized by Lucas on Sunday after our church service. 3 more kids and youth were adopted on Monday afternoon. It is amazing to see all the fruit that is coming out of your lives as you follow Jesus. Thank you for jumping in!

This coming Sunday, Michele Telfer will be teaching at Conejo. Her topic will be Psalm 139, which is a beautiful and powerful song about being seen by the Lord. Please read it ahead of time, so you are ready for the morning. If you are going through some hard stuff right now, this will be an especially powerful morning so make sure you’re there. Invite someone to join you who needs hope and a spiritual family right now.

“The relief of Angel, Alex, and Maggie being part of our forever family has filled our home with an unexpected sweetness this week. Nevertheless every adoption has an element of loss and sadness along with the greatest joy.”

Fall Community Groups

Fall Community Groups

NOW is the best time of the year to join a Community Group. Community Groups are the best place at Conejo to grow in relationships and also in your spiritual gifts. We have 3 groups going right now.

The Kappen group meets Wednesday nights in Thousand Oaks.
Ryan Mayfield’s group meets every other Wednesday in Camarillo.
The Markham/Lindsay group meets on Thursday nights in Moorpark.

To join a group, just reach out to groups@conejochurch.com or write “Community Groups” on your Connect Card on Sundays. We hope you will jump in so that you can be connected and so that you can grow in your faith.

Our next Conejo leadership meeting is September 10th after the service. Plan on grabbing a to-go lunch and come back to the church to get started at 12:30.
