Hey, Conejo family,

I pray you are well this week. Thank you for being part of the Conejo Church community! It’s awesome to see God so clearly at in each of you. Thank you to all of you who were part of Day of Prayer and the Family Movie Night. Please take advantage of those times in the future to get more connected with each other and with the Lord.

This coming Sunday, our own Michele Telfer will be preaching. She will be sharing about following God where and when He leads us, even when it’s difficult. St. Paul followed even when his friends told him it was risky and even dangerous. St. Peter followed even when it meant going beyond his culture and comfort zone and then his own people judged him for it.

It is God’s desire to shape us into people that will follow Him in faith and not in fear. How can we become more like Jesus daily and make the most of every opportunity He puts before us? By learning from His Word and by keeping in step with His Spirit. Let’s go there together!

Blessings in the powerful name of Jesus!
Kirk

Movie Night!

A thousand thanks to Rhonda, Kimberly, and their team for all the hard work to make Movie Night so amazing!! We all had a great time laughing together at the Muppets Movie. Here are a couple of shots from the night.

Thank You, David! Welcome, Lucas!

Conejo has been so blessed to have David Gabertan as our Youth Director this past year. God has done so much through David in the lives of each of our students and in our church as a whole. He leaves this week for a leadership program in Georgia. David, you will be missed!!

Lucas Johnston has been assisting David with Conejo’s youth ministry this past year. God has called him to step in and become our new Youth Director. We are so thankful for this perfect provision and timing!

Please pray for David as he starts the school year in another state. Please pray for Lucas as he fills in some very big shoes (size 12) :). Thank you, Lord, for our Conejo Youth! Thank you, Lord, for your grace and provision!
