Conejo Weekly News! August 03, 2023

Hello Conejo Family,

I pray you are doing well this week! Sundays have been awesome so far this summer. Thank you to everyone who has been coming regularly and to all who have been bringing friends. If you’ve missed any of the “Summer in the Psalms” series, please watch or listen to those weeks. God has been speaking clearly to his people! July 23 had to do with depression. July 30 was all about recovery and restoration.

This coming weekend, we still study Psalm 61. It has to do with honest prayer and asking God for help. It also includes the famous line, “Lead me to the rock that is higher than I”. I can’t wait to share it with you this Sunday.

Will you pray that God will make Himself known to the more than 1,000 kids that will be served this Saturday? We want them to know Jesus as their Savior and provider.

Conejo Youth

Please pray for our Conejo Youth as they head up to Hume Lake this Sunday! We were blown away by the enormous support of our Burrito and Car Wash fundraisers. Because of your generous support and additional donations, we were able to send 17 campers and counselors to Hume Lake for a fraction of the cost! Because of God’s gracious gifts we far exceeded our original goal. A true miracle and testament to Conejo Church’s investment in our youth. We pray that lives are truly transformed up at camp!
