Hello, Conejo Church family,

I hope you are doing well this week. I had a deep thought last week… No one can make you prioritize Jesus. That is something you can only do for yourself. So, the question is, “Are you prioritizing time with Him and also with His people?”

This coming Sunday we are beginning a new series and I’m stoked about it! We will study each of the resurrection appearances of Jesus.

Saint Paul was very clear that the reality and the experience of the resurrection matters very much in our lives. How many resurrection appearances were there? See if you can count them this week by looking in the New Testament. Hint: They are not all in the Gospels.

Please invite someone to join you at Conejo over the next few weeks. Can’t wait to see you on Sunday!

Blessings to you all,
Kirk

Family-Style Service

Trip to the Holy Land

Ready to go to the Holy Land? There are few spaces left on this incredible tour led by our own Michele Telfer. Head right away to this website with all the information and the itinerary etc. Or copy and paste this link in your browser: https://itcisrael.wixsite.com/telferisrael23. The Dates are: Jordan Oct 23-27, 2023; Israel Oct 26-Nov 5, 2023.

It is an amazing trip that Michele Telfer has led many times. There is an option pre-extension to Jordan where you’ll stay a night in a Bedouin Camp deep in the desert, before visiting the ancient city of Petra. You will end up overlooking the Promised Land from the place that Moses first saw it, before you cross in to Israel and meet up with any who do not wish to join up in Jordan.

The Israel itinerary is jam-packed as you will see from the Itinerary page on the site. Everything is included in the price except lunches and incidentals. (Accommodation, tours, all other meals and even tips are included as well as the flights). The tour has an Israeli guide and bus driver … but Michele will teach at the different sites too.

This really is the trip of a life-time!
