I pray you are well this week! May the peace and power of Jesus fill your life as you walk with Him. Last Sunday was a blast! Thank you to everyone who came out for the BBQ and to everyone who brought fabulous food. The tri-tip was about perfect and Lynn made a tiny dessert with Rolos that was unbelievable.
This coming Sunday we will continue our Word/Deed/Spirit series. A bunch of you have told me just how practical and inspiring it has already been! If you’ve missed either of the first 2 weeks, please catch up. I don’t write sermons because I like to hear myself speak. The Lord is showing me what WE need right now to navigate life and our culture.
This week our theme will be “DEED”. We will get into how our works relate to our faith and where a servant’s heart actually comes from. If you’re an excellent servant, you will cheer. If you struggle in this area and wish you were like other people, I believe it will be VERY encouraging to you as well.
I can’t wait to see you all on Sunday at 10. Please invite someone to join you. It’s exciting to see what God is doing right now in and through Conejo Church.
