I hope you are going deeper with the Lord each day and not just rolling with the punches.
Thank you to everyone who was part of last Sunday. We learned a lot together about having a relationship with the Holy Spirit. Donna Leavitt shared some of her story and it was powerful! If you missed it, please listen. Seriously! We both shared practical ways to walk more closely with the Spirit in your daily life. Thank you to everyone who is part of the Bible App devo this week too! Twenty-four of us are doing a study called “Benefits to Having the Holy Spirit” right now.
This coming Sunday, October 17, will be a blast! I’ll be continuing our Word/Deed/Spirit series talking about what happens when Word and Spirit work together in our lives. The result is having “The Mind of Christ”. Please join us as we unpack this often overlooked but very powerful idea in the New Testament. If you’d like to read ahead, check out the second chapter of 1 Corinthians. It’s fantastic! Also, after the service there will be a chili cook-off and potluck with lots of amazing food. Please invite a friend to join you to come check out Conejo!

I just picked up lunch at 3 Amigos. Shared with the owner that our family was praying for them as part of our “family community prayer.” He was so moved he brought his 12 year old son out who was working in the back. He wanted him to hear that they were making an impact on the community and that families appreciated them and their hard work. He said he was going to share with his entire staff and was so grateful. I almost cried. So important to not just pray but to let the people know we are praying for them.”

Conejo Church happily honors Len Krukowski! If Conejo is up to something either on campus or out in the community, most likely you will see Len with his sleeves rolled up and working hard. He’s also the guy that heads up our men’s ministry. He is a huge contributor to our church family and we want to say a hearty, “Thank you”! Let Len know you appreciate him, and then jump in to help!!
