I hope you will be able to find a few, or many, things to thank the Lord for this year. Saint Paul said to “give thanks in all circumstances”. Either he was crazy OR he discovered a deeper truth about how to see the world around us. Where does thanks come from? What makes a person grateful? Is it what they have outside or is it more about who they are inside? Ok, I made it a little obvious. I think you know the answer. It’s easier to say the right answer than it is to actually live it out.
This Sunday will be all about giving thanks. We will spend time in praise together and learn what the Bible says about being thank-full people. We will also have a time of open mic sharing so you can thank the Lord publicly for who he is or what he has done in your life this past year. I can’t wait to be together. Enjoy the whole week, not just Thursday.
See you all soon! I’m grateful for each of you.
In expectation,
Kirk
