Harvest Fest/ Trunk or Treat on Saturday night was a big hit. More than 250 people showed up this year and all the kids were lit up! Thank you so much to everyone who decorated cars, made food, and volunteered. Join me in praying that some of those we met will join our church family over the next few month.
This past Sunday was all about Spiritual Gifts. I interviewed my wife, Stacy about how she develops her own gifts, especially the gift of healing. She shared some amazing stories of the Holy Spirit at work through her. If you missed it, please listen or watch this week (Spiritual Gifts Part Two). Andrea and the band led us in a beautiful time of worship as well.
This coming Sunday, November 7, I’ll be teaching about MISSION. How can we better understand the “Missio Dei” and our role in it? When I grew up, mission was usually called missions. This weekend, let’s knock the “s” right off it together! If you’d like to read ahead, please check out Luke chapter 10. Yes, the whole darn thing.
Today is ourDay of Prayer! Please join us in praying all day that God would empower our church to reach our community. Let’s gather together in community to seek the Lord and to lift up current needs. 7am or 7pm in the sanctuary.
